Return & Refund Policy

Thank you for shopping with The Fast Kitchen. This policy explains our position on returns and refunds. Because our products are digital downloads (ebooks and recipe files), this policy is tailored to the nature of digital goods under EU and Dutch consumer law.

1. Digital products and the right of withdrawal

Under EU consumer law, you normally have a 14-day "cooling-off" period to withdraw from an online purchase. However, this right does not apply to digital content that is supplied immediately, once you have:

  1. given your express prior consent to immediate delivery, and
  2. acknowledged that you therefore lose your right of withdrawal.

At checkout, by completing your purchase, you give this consent and acknowledge that your 14-day right of withdrawal no longer applies. For this reason, completed digital purchases are generally non-refundable.

2. When we will issue a refund

We want you to be happy with your purchase. Even though digital products are non-refundable by default, we will review and, where appropriate, issue a refund in the following cases:

  • You were charged more than once for the same order (duplicate payment).

Refunds are considered on a case-by-case basis. 

3. What is not eligible for a refund

We are unable to offer refunds for:

  • A change of mind.
  • Claims that the recipes, content, or format did not meet personal expectations, where the product was delivered as described.

4. How to request a refund

To request a refund, email us at [hey@thefast-kitchen.com] within 14 days of your purchase, and include:

  • your order number,
  • the email address used at checkout, and
  • a short description of the issue.

We aim to respond within 2–3 business days.

5. How refunds are processed

If your refund is approved:

  • It will be issued to your original payment method.
  • Please allow 5–10 business days for the amount to appear, depending on your bank or card provider.
  • We will confirm by email once the refund has been processed.
