Terms of Service
Welcome to The Fast Kitchen. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of thefast-kitchen.com (the "Site") and your purchase of our digital products. By using the Site or placing an order, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old, or have the consent of a parent or guardian, to place an order. By purchasing, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you are authorised to use the payment method.
2. Our products
The Fast Kitchen sells digital products — ebooks and recipe files (including The Fast Kitchen cookbook) delivered electronically as a download. No physical goods are shipped. Product descriptions, images, and previews are provided in good faith to describe the product accurately.
3. Orders, prices, and payment
- All prices are shown at checkout and are inclusive of applicable VAT unless stated otherwise.
- We reserve the right to correct pricing errors and to refuse or cancel an order in the event of an obvious error.
- Payment is processed securely by our payment provider. Your order is confirmed once payment is successfully received.
4. Delivery
Your product is delivered digitally, immediately after payment, via a download link on the confirmation page and by email. Full details are set out in our Shipping & Delivery Policy.
5. Right of withdrawal (digital content)
Because our products are digital content delivered immediately, the standard 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply once delivery has begun, provided that at checkout you:
- give your express prior consent to immediate delivery, and
- acknowledge that you thereby lose your right of withdrawal.
By completing your purchase and accessing your download, you provide this consent and acknowledgement.
6. Refunds
Completed digital purchases are generally non-refundable. We do, however, offer refunds in specific circumstances (such as duplicate charges). Please see our Return & Refund Policy for full details.
7. Licence and intellectual property
All content in our products — including recipes, text, photography, design, and branding — is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.
When you purchase a product, we grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable, non-commercial licence to use it for your own private use. You may not:
- resell, sublicense, share, distribute, or upload the product or any part of it;
- reproduce it for commercial purposes; or
- remove any copyright or ownership notices.
This licence does not transfer any ownership rights to you.
8. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Site or our products for any unlawful purpose, to infringe our rights or those of others, or to attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Site or its systems.
9. Health and nutrition disclaimer
Our products are provided for general informational and educational purposes only and are not medical, nutritional, or dietary advice. The recipes and any nutritional information are not a substitute for professional guidance.
- Always consult a qualified doctor or dietitian before making significant changes to your diet, particularly if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, have a medical condition, or take medication.
- Check all ingredients for allergens. You are responsible for ensuring recipes are suitable for you and anyone you cook for.
- Nutritional values, where given, are estimates and may vary depending on ingredients and preparation.
You use the recipes and information at your own risk.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of the Site or our products. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or your mandatory statutory rights as a consumer.
11. Privacy
Your personal data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which explains what we collect and how we use it.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version will always be available on this page, with the "Last updated" date shown above. The Terms that apply to your order are those in force at the time of purchase.
13. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Any disputes will be subject to the competent Dutch courts, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection rights you have in your country of residence. EU consumers may also use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform.
